Schlumberger.(ex.Waterloo.Hydrogeologic).2.2.0.2 What I'm trying to find out, and couldn't really find in official Siemens documentation: is it appropriate to put 3 Desigo Insight instances on the same server (Windows 2008 Server)? Don't the 3 instances compete for resources, thus possibly acting on the server performance and availability? Windows server performance did log a significant decline in this period. ![]() Eventually (as the root cause analysis seems to prove) the service appointed to log the Trends to the DB crashed, so no Trend records were saved for a period of time, and was finally restored only by a complete server reboot (once the error was noticed). The Log viewer says Desigo was saving trends when the DB was available and logging errors when not. ![]() ![]() I'm really an IT guy and was called to evaluate a situation which caused a data loss, more insights hereīasically there was a stress period, for around 20 minutes the SQL server was intermittently available to the Desigo Insight application.
